Internet Explorer 8.0'ı İndirin!
Microsoft’un birçok yeniliğe sahip yeni nesil web tarayıcısının son sürümü kullanıma hazır. Uzun bir beta sürecinin ardından çıkan RC1 sürümü ile kullanıcıların yüzünü güldürmeyi başaran yeni nesil web tarayıcısı Internet Explorer 8′in nihai sürümü yayımlandı. Tarayıcı, geçerli web standartlarını destekleyen ilk Microsoft tarayıcısı olma unvanını taşıyor. Görsel RSS olarak tanımlanabilecek WebSlices, gezdiğiniz sayfadan çıkmadan ek bilgi edinmenizi sağlayan Accelerators ve gizli sörf yapmayı mümkün kılan InPrivate Mode gibi yeni özellikler sunan web tarayıcısı, 6 thread’li yeni motoru ile önceki IE sürümlerine göre çok daha hızlı sayfa gösterimleri vaat ediyor. Windows XP ve Windows Vista işletim sistemleri için olan sürümlerini aşağıdaki linklerden indirebilirsiniz:

Internet Explorer 7 Download Sınırı
Dikkat etmişsinizdir, IE7 ile aynı web server üzerinden maximum 2 eş zamanlı download yapabiliyoruz. Bu durum IE7 için anlam veremediğim bir standart. Eş zamanlı download sayısını arttırmak için regedit’i açıyoruz ve aşağıdaki iki değeri editliyoruz:
“HKEY_CURENT_USER/ Software/ Microsoft/ Windows/ CurrentVErsion/ Internet Settings” altında
MaxConnectionsPerServer değerini örneğin 5 yapıyoruz.
MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server değerini de 5 yapıyoruz.
Bilgisayarı yeniden başlatıyoruz. Artık IE7 ile 5 eş zamanlı download yapabiliriz.

Gpo ile download kısıtlama
ilk olarak gpedit.msc ile group policy açıyoruz.
User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Internet Explorer > Internet Control Panel > Security Page > Internet Zone > Allow file Downloads çift tıklıyoruz.
Karşımıza çıkan pencereden Enable > Allow file downloads > disable seçip ok diyerek kapatıyoruz.
Group policy işleme geçebilmesi için Gpupdate /force komutunu çalıştırıyoruz.
böylelikle download kısıtlamış oluyoruz.
